Beatin’ Path is a team of highly skilled rhythm facilitators and professional percussionists committed to providing dynamic, interactive, and memorable rhythm based events.  We combine years of experience with a high standard of professionalism to create a rhythm based experience perfectly suited for your community, school, or workplace.

Dave Holland

Dave is founder and primary performer and facilitator of all Beatin' Path programs and drum circles. Dave spreads the message of  community, teamwork, diversity,  and environmental awareness through rhythm based events.  Dave leads regular drum circles at regional area schools, public housing  communities, health fairs and festivals. Former clients include the Chattohoochee Valley Library's  reading inititive program, Southeast Regional Hospice, Muscogee County School Administrators conference, Georgia's Early  Childhood Educator's Conference, and the Southeast Regional Girl Scout Leadership convention.  On stage, Dave is found in a number of musical settings,  including world beat, jazz, orchestral and theatrical productions.  Dave is the leading member of Ritmo Blu, a world percussion trio that performs  at regional schools and festivals.   Dave has traveled to Cuba, Africa, and Brazil to pursue his continuing education of the world's cultures and drumming traditions.  Dave has been a guest facilitator at the Percussive Arts Society's International Conference, the Georgia PAS Day of Percussion,  is a graduate of the Village Music Circles Community Drum Facilitation Training, a Young Andiences, Woodruff Arts Center roster artist and a member of the Drum Circle Facilitator's Guild.

Eric Buchanan

Eric Buchanan entered the professional music scene when he was still a teenager growing up in New York City.  He graduated from the New York High School of Music and Art, and began playing with well known performers in the city and beyond.  While Eric's first instrument was trumpet, he eventually gravitated to drums and percussion.  He has shared the stage with many notable jazz and blues artists, including Eartha Kitt, Betty Carter, Greggory Isaacs, George Benson, Big Jack Johnson, and Evelyn Champaigne King.  His performance career has taken him around the world to places like Haiti, Thailand, Japan and Israel.  Currently he performs in the Atlanta area with percussion trio Ritmo Blu and various other performing artists and groups. 


Dave Solo

Bobby is an active performer, arranger and clinician in the southeast.  He is currently the percussion coordinator with the Trion City Schools (GA) marching band, percussion ensemble and steelband and performs with world percussion trio, Ritmo Blu.  He also performs with various symphony orchestras in the southeast.  He has arranged for and worked with numerous marching bands, percussion ensembles and steelbands in the southeast for the past 15 years.  He is the founder of Panablaze Steelband and is an active performer in the southeast.  He also performed with Steel Breeze Steelband in Panama City, Florida for 10 years and in 2003 with Starlift Steel Orchestra in Trinidad and Tobago.
