Beatin' Path Rhythm Events - Drum Circles in the School

Drum Circles in the School

Rhythm is a universal language that bridges differences of culture, race, and gender.  For children of all ages, playing a drum or rhythm instrument in a safe and fun environment gives them a new voice in which they can express themselves and interact with others.

At Beatin' Path we celebrate this self expression and seek to enhance cognitive, social and recreational skills through high energy rhythm events!

At a Beatin' Path rhythm event each student is provided a drum or rhythm instrument and guided through a series of games and interactions that emphasize teamwork, communication and creativity.  Connections are also made to math, history and language skills, making a rhythm event the perfect way to support and enhance school curriculum!

By creating 'in the moment' music on percussion instruments from around the world, students also celebrate diversity and learn to better appreciate global cultures!
