Ritmo Blu is a high energy world percussion trio that offers entertaining, educational and multi-cultural performances.
With up to 100 instruments on stage, gathered from all over the world, this dynamic and accomplished trio presents international music which fosters community, diversity and teamwork. Available for schools, festivals, community centers and corporate events. In the metro Atlanta area, Ritmo Blu is scheduled through Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts.
For nearly 10 years, Ritmo Blu has been entertaining and educating audiences in and around the Atlanta area. Now this high energy percussion group goes global with its new DVD, Back Stage Pass!

Rhythmic Journey
A popular journey across the globe with rhythm as the primary mode of transportation! Featured in this program are multiple rhythmic traditions – from the heart beat of the Native American culture to the Middle East, Asia, Africa, South America, the Caribbean and back home to America for some 1930's ragtime. Also included are African folk songs, a samba parade, and audience play-along!
Follow African rhythm from its roots in villages around Ghana and Mali to the streets of Harlem and New Orleans! Rhythmic stops along the way include Brazil, Cuba, and New Orleans. Musical styles include West African stick drumming, early American jazz and a hip-hop salute to the musical group “Stomp”! Offered February 1st – March 30th.
Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa favorites from around the world set to the sounds of steel drums, congas, Austrian alpine bells, Senegalese sabar drums, and more! Offered from November 25th – December 30th.
